Dear all,
Dr Muhammad Nizam is a member of the physics department of XMUM. He obtained his Phd in Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) and completed his postdoctoral studies in University of California Santa Cruz. In XMUM, he teaches PHY204 Electrodynamics, PHY307 Astrophysics,PHY403 Nuclear and Particle Physics.
Dr Nizam is currently hiring master students for the research topics as following:
- Neutrino as probes for Quantum gravity.
- Flavor degeneracies in Astrophysical Neutrinos.
- Modeling of neutrino decay, pseudo-Dirac splitting, and decoherence effects.
- Development of Resistive Plate Chambers for Medical Imaging.
- Study of Wide Bandgap semiconductors for extreme environments.
- Development of data acquisition for ultra-fast sensors.
- Development of gas circulation system for Resistive Plate Chambers.
The research topics are also open for undergraduate research and Final Year Projects.
