There lots of different words and phrase to describe time in Chinese language, perhaps one of the most common phrase is “時光”, where 時 mean time and 光 mean light literally. The phrase was beautiful, it visualize the time as light, we say “时光容易把人抛，红了樱桃，绿了芭蕉” (Time will easily throw people away, it red the cherry, green the banana)”
However, it was at that day when I was writing and come back to this word, and suddenly I found it was not that simple, it contain a deeper insight, not other but exactly the time coordinate in Einstein space-time theory! You see “時光” = time-light = ct! Space-time equivalence in ancient Chinese Language!
